ControlWorks is proud to present our Crestron Home Driver for the UniFi Access Application, providing seamless local integration between UniFi Access controllers and Crestron Home.
This driver connects directly to the UniFi Access Application running on a local controller such as a CloudKey or UDM. By leveraging the official UniFi Access API, it enables secure control of doors connected to UniFi Enterprise Access Hubs or Door Hubs. Side doors are supported; however, gate control via the Gate Hub is not currently available. UniFi has indicated that expanded gate support is on the product roadmap.
With real-time event monitoring, you receive instant feedback in Crestron Home for door position changes, access events, and doorbell presses.

This driver delivers robust access control functionality, including:
- Real-Time Event Monitoring: Instant notifications for door position (open, closed, unknown), access granted or denied, and doorbell press events
- Native Lock Integration: Doors appear as native Crestron Locks in the Crestron Home app with standard lock and unlock controls
- Advanced Lock Actions: Extended control via custom sequences, including:
- Unlock for a timed interval
- Keep locked
- Keep unlocked
- Momentarily unlock
- End temporary lock rules
- Reset lock state
- Local Communication: Operates entirely over TCP/IP with local controllers such as CloudKey and UDM - no cloud connection required

Licensing Information
To continue using the driver beyond the trial period, a Module Instance License is required and can be purchased here.
Each driver instance requires a separate license. Licenses are tied to the Crestron processor. Please refer to the Driver Help File for step-by-step instructions on retrieving your Activation Key.
SIMPL Windows Version
Due to current limitations in both 3-Series and 4-Series processors, this driver is not yet available for SIMPL Windows. We are actively working with Crestron to resolve this limitation and plan to offer SIMPL compatibility in a future update.
