Finally a module to serially control most receivers in the
DIRECTV product line! This module allows control of all receivers with the exception of the HR10-250. Any other receiver with a low speed serial port or a USB port can be controlled. Compatible models include:
- D10-D11-D12 standard definition receivers
- R15 & R16 standard definition PVRs
- H10-H20-H21-H22-H23-H24 high definition receivers
- HR20-HR21-HR21P-HR22-HR23-HR24 high definition PVRs
Control of all functions on the remote are available along with discrete power commands. Direct tuning with an analog or serial input makes tuning by channel icons a snap. Tuning to sub-channels is also supported on the module. Current channel feedback as well as signal strength, CAM (card) ID, transponder, and current audio and video support are also available. Discrete format commands are not yet supported but are in the development pipeline at DIRECTV, and will be added to a future update to this module.
