Ubiquiti UniFi Protect is a powerful IP camera and security platform widely deployed in residential and commercial installations. ControlWorks is pleased to offer a platform driver that brings UniFi Protect into Crestron Home, giving integrators a seamless way to surface viewers, cameras, sensors, and other devices alongside the rest of a client's smart home.

Compatibility
This driver connects to a UniFi Protect controller (UDM Pro, UNVR, or any UniFi OS console running UniFi Protect) via a local connection using the official UniFi Protect API. UniFi Protect firmware must support the Integration API Key feature. Devices are discovered automatically at runtime.
The driver is compatible with the following Crestron Home processors:
- CP4-R (v1 and v2)
- MC4-R (v1 and v2)
- PC4-R
The following UniFi Protect device categories are currently supported:
- Viewers (UniFi Viewport)
- Cameras (PTZ preset and patrol tour recall on PTZ-capable models)
- Sensors (USL Entry, USL Environmental, USL Motion, USL GlassBreak, UP Sense)
- Relays (USL Relay)
- Sirens (UP Siren PoE)

This driver provides comprehensive UniFi Protect integration for Crestron Home, including:
- Fully featured 7-day trial period
- Automatic discovery of devices from the UniFi Protect controller with real-time event updates
- Dynamic child drivers: each viewer, camera, sensor, relay, and siren becomes its own independently configurable Crestron Home device
- Viewport Live View control
- PTZ control for PTZ-capable cameras
- Sensor status reporting and events
- Relay output control and input state reporting
- Siren control and state feedback

Licensing Information

One license is required per UniFi Protect controller instance. The license is tied to the specific combination of a Crestron processor and controller. Please see the help file for detailed step-by-step activation instructions.
